This error can happen if you upgrade your Windows version (say Windows 7) to Windows 10 without first removing your AutoCAD install. Check out this post where we talk about how to correctly upgrade your AutoCAD to Windows 10

If you are hitting this error:

try installing your AutoCAD’s latest Service Packs/Updates
add all application exe’s to your anti-virus Exclusion list

If that doesn’t solve the issue then most likely you will have problems remedying because even an uninstall/reinstall doesn’t solve the problem.
